May 17, 2006, Records fall as the Trojans crush New Hyde Park 34-0 after taking a 27-0 halftime lead. Gibbons totals 13 points on 9 goals and 4 assists. Steve Dachille scores 8 goals and Engelke has 6 assists.
May 22, 2006, Justin Lynch dominates faceoffs and scores twice as GC beats Bethpage 14-2 in the quarterfinals.
May 31, 2006, Coach Doc Dougherty gets his 565th and final win for GC as the Trojans beat Southside 7-5 in the Nassau Class B Championship. It is Doc's 11th county title. Dean Gibbons scores 5 goals to set a Long Island record of 101.

March 26, 2005, Sophomore Terry Kennedy scores the winning goal in overtime as GC wins the 114th Woodstick Classic 9-8
April 12, 2005, Trailing 5-0 after the first quarter, GC scores 8 goals in the second quarter on the way to an 11-9 win over Southside
April 14, 2005, Sophomore Dean Gibbons scores 6 goals in a 20-2 win over Jericho

April 7, 2004, The Trojans beat Poway 9-5 in their first game in California
May 1, 2004, Mike Burns scores 6 goals in the 11-10 win over Division. GC scored twice in the final 10 seconds to come from behind.
May 4, 2004, Tim Hay and Conor O'Brien total 13 points as GC tops Port Washington 14-3

March 22, 2003, Coach Doc Dougherty wins his 500th game by beating Lynbrook 12-4. Mike Burns scores 4 goals.
March 29, 2003, Mike Burns had 5 goals and 3 assists and John Adamo had 3 goals and 5 assists in a 19-2 win over Plainview-JFK.
April 2, 2003, The Trojans edge Chaminade 9-8 as Ryan Pomponio scores 3 goals.
April 19, 2003, Mike Burns and Randy Burke each score 5 goals in a 25-2 rout of Great Neck North.
May 2, 2003, Chris Miller scores 7 goals in an 11-2 win over Hicksville
May 7, 2003, John Adamo had 6 goals and 2 assists as GC beat Division 14-10

April 13, 2002, Chris Miller's 6 goals spark GC to a 13-9 victory over MacArthur.
April 16, 2002, Dan Flannery and Dan Oppedisano combine for 7 goals in the 20-3 win over Floral Park.
April 20, 2002, GC beats Massachusetts champ Winchester 17-5 at Yale as Dan Flannery totals 6 assists and John Adamo 4 assists.
May 3, 2002, Flannery totals 9 points in a 17-2 rout of Great Neck North.
May 7, 2002, GC wins the Conference Championship by beating Wantagh 11-7. Adamo scores 4 goals and Flannery has 5 assists.
May 14, 2002, Dan Flannery assists on 7 goals and totals 11 points in the 15-5 triumph over Port Washington.
May 20, 2002, In their fifth straight trip to the Nassau County Class B Championship game, GC suffers a disappointing 5-4 loss to Lynbrook. Dan Flannery finishes 3rd in GC history in assists (164) and total points (295). Defenseman Glenn Nick is named All-American.


2001

March 31, 2001, Pete LeSueur scores 6 goals and 4 assists and Mike Wenzel scores the 10,000th goal in GC history as the Trojans crush Manhasset 20-8, the highest score ever in the rivalry.

April 11, 2001, In the team's first trip to Massachusetts, Pete LeSueur and Dan Flannery score 3 goals each in the 9-3 win over Duxbury.

May 24, 2001, GC completes its 38 game winning streak, the second longest in school history, by beating Floral Park 17-8 in the Nassau B Semifinal. Lacrosse Magazine ranks the Trojans #1 in the nation.
May 31, 2001, Wantagh ends GC's streak in the Nassau County Championship 10-8. Peter LeSueuer scores 7 points to finish his career with the school record of 373. His 193 assists are also a school mark and he becomes GC's first three-time All-American.


2000
April 1, 2000, Trojans rally with 5 goals in the 4th quarter to beat Manhasset, 9-8
April 14, 2000, 14 different goal scorers contribute to a 24-0 shutout win over Floral Park
April 27, 2000, Paul Capelli's 4 goals help GC win 10-7 over Kent Denver, Colorado.
April 29, 2000, Pete LeSueur scores 8 goalsin 16-9 win over East Manuel in Colorado. Dan Flannery adds 2 goals 4 assists
May 3, 2000, Paul Cappelli scores 7 goasl and Dan Flannery adds 6 in 23-15 shoot out win over South Side, the highest scoring game in 66 year GC history
May 6, 2000, Dan Flannery ties the sophomore record with 6 assists in 21-2 triumph win over Herricks.
May 10, 2000, GC blanks Herricks 28-0 led by Dave Duffy's 5 goals.
May 13, 2000, Trojans tie school record by scoring 53 goals in two consecutive games. The 25-3 win over Carey is led by Paul Cappelli's 6 goals and Ryan Capilupi's 4.
May 23, 2000, Cappelli scores 6 goals as GC trounces Bellmore JFK, 21-5
May 31, 2000, GC beats Port Washington 14-9 to win the Nassau Class B Championship
June 7, 2000, Trojans score twicein final period to edge Comsewogue, 8-6, for the L.I. Class B Title
June 8, 2000, Pete LeSueur scores 3 goals and adds 5 assists in 17-8 win over Niskayuna in N.Y. State Classs B Semifinal
June 10, 2000, All-American Pete LeSueur scores 5 goals and 6 assists as Trojans beat Carthage 18-15 to win the N.Y. State Class B Championship and finish undefeated at 21-0

April 3, 1999, Sophomore Peter LeSueur scores 4 goals as the Trojans top Manhasset 12-10 in overtime.
April 9, 1999, LeSueur and Cappelli each score 5 goals in 20-6 win over Great Neck North.
April 21, 1999, Rich Aurigemma's 4 goals and LeSueur's 5 assists help GC crush Seaford 16-2
May 14, 1999, GC tops Bethpage 9-8 in sudden death overtime.
May 31, 1999, Jimm Wills' 3 goals leads scoring as the Trojans beat Manhasset 10-9 in the County B Semifinals. Peter LeSueur is the first GC Sophomore to be named All-American. Goalie Eric Wenzel is All-American Honorable Mention.


1998
March 28, 1998, The season opens with an 11-3 triumph over Lynbrook, completing a 22 game winning streak.
April 8, 1998, B.J. Prager scores 7 goals and freshman Peter LeSueur adds 5 assists in the 13-3 win over St. Anthony's.
April 18, 1998, In the "Battle of the Sound", GC beats New Canaan 6-5 at Manhasset.
May 29, 1998, The high scoring duo of Doug Staab and B.J. Prager combines for 11 goals in a 14-5 playoff win over Floral Park.
June 2, 1998, Chris Houston's two goals help edge Lynbrook 8-6 in the semifinals.
June 5, 1998, Manhasset scores twice in the 4th quarter to come from behind and beat the Trojans 8-7 in the County B Final. B.J. Prager completes his career with 154 goals and Doug Staab finishes with 149.


1997
March 25, 1997, B.J. Prager scores 6 goals and Rob Adamo adds 5 assists in a 10-5 season opening win over Lynbrook.
April 12, 1997, Doug Staab and B.J. Prager each score 5 goals as the Trojans beat new Canaan 15-6
April 17, 1997, Coach Doc Dougherty wins his 400th game 11-5 over Bellmore Kennedy.
April 26, 1997, Six goals by Doug Staab lead GC over North Shore 15-9
April 30, 1997, GC scores 3 goals in the fourth quarter to beat Manhasset 9-7
May 8, 1997, Pete Dell'Olio scores 4 goals in the 16-8 romp over St. Anthony's.
May 13, 1997, Rob Adamo has 5 assists against Floral Park giving him 11 in two games.
May 30, 1997, The Trojans beat Manhasset 5-4 to win the Nassau B Championship.
June 3, 1997, Doug Staab's 5 goals lead GC over Comsewogue 11-9 in the Long Island B Championship.
June 5, 1997, Garden City scores 9 goals in the first quarter and goes on to crush John Jay 17-9 in the NY State B Semifinal.
June 7, 1997, The Trojans win the NY State Class B Championship and finish undefeated 21-0 by edging Corning East 12-11 in overtime at Syracuse. After leading 9-1, GC had to come back to tie on Brandon Wenk's late goal and win in overtime on B.J. Prager's goal.
